How is SimplePR different from other press release distribution services?

We believe the process of getting your message out to the press should be simple, straight forward and hassle free. We don’t require long-term contracts or cumbersome membership accounts. We don’t charge an exorbitant per-release distribution fee and don’t have a bunch of complex different pricing options. Our goals is to provide the best value in the industry and for every customer to have a positive experience with SimplePR.

Where will you distribute my press release to?

SimplePR has a wide network of media outlets that your release will be distributed to. Your release will be featured in top news portals (like Google News and Bing News) as well as the websites of major national newspapers, radio stations and television stations. Your release will also be distributed to various research databases (like Lexis Nexus and PostMedia), dozens of online news sites and social media feeds. Preparing Your Press Release

What type of content can be distributed through SimplePR?

Both press releases and news-style articles can be distributed through SimplePR. Please note that all submitted press releases should be submitted with proper spelling and grammar and should be at least 400 words long.

What can I do to make sure my press release gets the most attention?

In order to maximize the value that you receive by distributing your press release through SimplePR, we recommend that you tell the biggest and most compelling story your organization has to offer. We also recommend that you use Google’s Trends tool to identify keywords and topics that are currently receiving a lot of attention in search engines.

Can I include images or videos in my press release?

Yes. You can directly upload images into your release or embed videos from YouTube, Video, Wistia and other services in your press release.

Can I include hyperlinks in my press releases?

Yes. You can include up to five hyperlinks back to your website in your press release. Hyperlinks in your press release will not be marked as “no follow.”

Are there any restrictions on what can be included in my press release?

SimplePR does not accept any releases related to pornography, gambling, illegal drugs or prescription drugs. Releases must not be defamatory and must contain only factual information. Any release containing information deemed to be fraudulent will not be published.

Will you write my press release for me?

Yes. We have an experienced team of editors that can hand-craft a professionally-written release designed to grab media attention. Our press release writing services are available for an additional fee of $99.00.

Distributing Your Press Release

How do I submit a press release?

If you would like to distribute a press release through SimplePR, just use our easy-to-use submission form.

How much does it cost to have SimplePR distribute my press release?

We charge a flat fee of $89.00 for each release you would like to distribute through our service.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via all major credit and debit cards and via PayPal. Your payment will be processed securely over a 2048-bit SSL connection. No payment information is ever stored on our server.

Can I schedule my press release to be sent out on a specific date and time?

Yes. You can choose to have your release sent out immediately after approval or at a date and time that you specify. Please note that if you want to schedule your release to be sent out at a specific date/time, you must submit your release at least 12 hours in advance.

How long will my press releases stay on SimplePR’s website and its partner websites?

We do not age-out press releases after a specific time period. As long as we’re in business, your press release will remain on our website.

How will I know if my press release worked?

24-hours after your release is sent out, you’ll receive a full pick-up and distribution report that shows which media outlets picked up your press release as well as hyperlinks to your article on our partner websites.
